Alexandre has played a pivotal role in the field of social and community medicine, serving as a community leader at Partners In Health. In this capacity, he provided invaluable guidance to medical students, enabling them to explore the various social determinants of health that impact equitable service delivery.
His involvement also extends to curriculum development and integration. Alexandre contributed significantly to the development and integration of family planning curricula within pre-service schools of nursing and midwifery through the JHPIEGO project.
Currently, Dukundane Alexandre serves as a Quality Improvement and Clinical Associate at Health Builders. His role aligns perfectly with his passion for enhancing healthcare quality, as Health Builders focuses on achieving Sustainable Development Goal 3: "Good Health and Well-being." The organization accomplishes this through health system strengthening and regular mentorship programs aimed at improving healthcare services' quality, particularly in the areas of maternal and child health, sexual and reproductive health, and non-communicable diseases.
