'My Health, My Right’ Walkathon Event

On May 5, 2024, Health Builders fellows hosted a successful Walkathon as a part of their Global Health Corps cohort project.

This week, our remarkable Global Health Corps Fellows, Frank Mwale and Alexandre Dukundane, organized a successful walkathon to raise awareness about healthy living. With the help of their friends, and in collaboration with the World Health Organization, they planned and executed this event as a part of their Global Health Corps cohort project.

The event, held on May 5th, focused on promoting health education and information dissemination, aligning with the global theme "My Health, My Right.” Through engaging activities and meaningful conversations, they reached over 1,600 people with vital health messages on healthy life styles about hypertension and diabetes prevention, contributing to a healthier community.

Health Builders is proud to partner with Global Health Corps and support the inspiring work of these fellows. Their dedication, creativity, and passion for making a difference are truly commendable.

Thank you, Frank and Alexandre, for your outstanding leadership and commitment to improving health outcomes in Rwanda. We look forward to continuing our collaboration and making even greater strides together!
