Midyear Metrics: Infrastructure

A snapshot of Health Builders’ impact across facilities it has constructed: 8 state-of-the-art health centers, 2 maternity wards, and 3 health posts.

Everyone in Rwanda deserves access to safe and reliable health care so they are able to live dignified, healthy, and prosperous lives. A significant part of that vision depends on constructing facilities that make quality, reliable health care more accessible to community members.

However, this work of building physical facilities is only the beginning of our work. When construction is complete, Health Builders ensures each facility is fully equipped and staffed. And after the facility opens, we continue to stay involved through our core work in mentoring and training the staff of that facility.

2023 has been a stand-out year for infrastructure. With the help of our many partners and supporters, Health Builders has launched a new health center in Mwulire and three new health posts in Rulindo District.

Health Builders’ 8 state-of-the-art health centers, 2 maternity wards, and 3 health posts serve more than 300,000 people living in rural Rwanda.
